We are located just outside of Denali National Park in Healy, Alaska. While here you will experience the local life and culture of not only Alaska, but of the Kingdom as well.
There are over 231 villages in Alaska and most of them are not on the road systems making them only accessible by either boat or small aircraft. This means that there are hundreds of people who may have never hear of the light, love and hope of Jesus.
While doing your Discipleship Training School with us, you will learn different topics such as: hearing Gods voice, Father heart of God, spiritual warfare, Original design/ personal Identity and how to be an effective minister of the Gospel. With these skills, you will be equipped to go into not only these unreached people groups, but also into all the world with the Gospel.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and to engage those who are un-engaged in their faith. We believe that He commissioned us to be His hands and feet and to GO!

Discipleship Training School runs from April 3rd to August 26th, 2024.
The Lecture phase (April-June) for YWAM Denali is Approximately $3,800. This cost is due before arrival day.
Outreach (July & August) costs vary based on location but can be anywhere between $3,500- $5,000.
All tuition, room and board is included in the cost of your DTS for both lecture Phase and Outreach. Outreach flights to your next location are also covered in the expenses.

This is a school for anyone 18+
Durring this school you will grow a deeper and more intimate relationship with God and learn skills to further the kingdom through either construction trades or medical missions.
Rob and Ticee Graham have been married for 26 years and have raised their five children in the interior of Alaska. They have felt a call on their life for missions since they’ve been married and have ministered in numerous countries. They cofounded Last Frontier Ministries based in Alaska and they and their family did their DTS in 2014 along with their five children in Kona, Hawaii. In the summer of 2018, they went on staff with the Medical DTS in Kona until 2023, at which time YWAM KONA commissioned them to pioneer a new YWAM near Denali, Alaska.
In 1972, I did my first DTS in Torrejon, Spain — and I was hooked!
To discover that God still spoke and wanted to speak to ME, to have an ongoing, daily conversation with me --
That He had dreams specifically for me —
That His Word was ALIVE and relevant to my life —
Those things changed me then and continue to shape me now.

Aloha I am Tomás Barreto I am one of the co-leaders for the DTS's at the YWAM Denali base. I live in Kona Hawaii and when not serving at the base in AK I serve as a Restoring The Foundation minister as part of the 99 for 1 ministry at the YWAM Kona base. I am married and have 3 children. My wife Rieko is a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining YWAM I was in the US Army and retired after 21yrs of service.
I am originally from Indiana, but have since moved to Alaska in 2020. I did my DTS in 2018 with YWAM Kona Medical DTS and have staffed for two years with YWAM after that. When not staffing DTS schools, I am a staff member with a ministry here in Alaska called Last Frontier Ministries with my Husband, Kyle.
I have a heart and a passion to see people get to know God, and deepen their relationship with Him and His word. If I'm not serving in DTS or Ministry, you can find me cooking, hosting people in Kyle and I's tiny house, painting, playing music or just enjoying nature.
I am so excited to embark on this season of life with you!
Hi, our names are Josi and Ashley Graham and we are stoked to be on staff with YWAM Denali! I (Josi) was born and raise in Healy, Alaska while my wife Ashley was raised in the jungles of Peru as a missionary kid. We have been involved with YWAM and its ministry since 2021 and we want to use this ministry as a platform to pour into others just as we have been discipled and built up through it. We love YWAMs Mission statement “To know God and to make Him Known” and it is our hearts desire to get to know Him deeper and to share His Love with those around us.
Josiah is a second generation ywamer with a heart for missions (both local and foreign). He did His DTS in Kona Hawaii with medical DTS, and then took both the SSM and STBS here at the Lords land. He has a heart for mercy missions, worship, prophecy, inner healing and kingdom justice. He is a talented artist that enjoys using many mediums to communicate love to The Father, and from the Father, to His children. He loves nature, and spends much of His time outside exploring God’s creation. He is passionate about using His gifts for God’s glory, and learning from others and building others up in the body of Christ. He believes unity in the body of Christ is key to furthering the Gospel, and honesty, both with God and man, is is incredibly valuable to furthering Gods kingdom. He wants to usher in the presence of God in everything and be “ready in season and out of season”
Hey! My name is Mirella, but people call me Bitty. I was born and raised in Healy, Alaska. I did my DTS and DBS in Potchefstroom, South Africa in 2023. I am so excited to be staffing with YWAM Denali and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for this base!
Hey everyone! I’m Fiina, and I’m so excited to be apart of Ywam Denali and be apart of the wild adventure the Lord has in store. I was born and raised in Alaska, and did my DTS in Kona, Hawaii in 2020. I have been with YWAM for 4 years, and this will be my third year staffing a discipleship training school. Hi! I'm Olivia, I am 22 and from southern Missouri!! I did my DTS in Kona Hawaii in 2020. It was so life changing for me in every way, Hearned so much about Jesus, experienced so much healing and freedom, and met lifelong friends! Since doing YWAM I have been on the most exciting adventure with the Lord, I have gotten to do things and go places I never dreamed of. I am so excited to be on staff and continue with YWAM, I love this ministry so much and the impact it has on people! I think I'm most excited to just connect with students and talk with them and hear their stories!! Also to just watch them grow in their identity in Christ and see their lives be forever changed!! Fun fact about me I got voted in school most likely to laugh when I'm not supposed to, so if you want a guaranteed laugh sit by me in class!

I did my DTS in 2016 in Australia, which was a very important and life changing experience for me. Hey there, I'm Brad. Originally from Pennsylvania, though I didn't grow up in a christian home, eventually my immediate family and I all came to the Lord within a few years of each other, and have been following Jesus ever since. I did my DTS back in 2017 in Kona Hawaii, and have been staffing DTS's since 2020. One of the things I'm passionate about is discipleship; encouraging, equipping and seeing others walkout their lives with God, and grab hold of all the things they learn Christ has freed them from, then sharing that with others.
Hi I'm Andrew. I am originally from Pennsylvania. I first came to Alaska in 2018 to help build the Last Frontier Ministries/ YWAM Denali campus. Over the years, and many more trips to Alaska, God led me to move in 2023. I did my dts at Lakeside, Montana in 2020. After witnessing many lives transformed during the construction of our campus, I am looking forward to God transforming lives in the discipleship school.
We are sooo excited for the new Base in Alaska, it is not only beautiful but surrounded by the amazing majesty of Alaska wilderness. What better place to meet with God, than in the midst of his pristine creation. Greg and I lived in Montana before we did our first Medical DTS in 2016 in Kona Hawaii. Now, our 4 grown children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren share us with YWAM most of the year. When we returned from our first outreach our Pastor said, “you are ruined”, for the ordinary. Yup, we could never go back to our previous life. Drawn by God to see peoples of all nations walk with Jesus, we are privileged to be a part of the Medical DTS. Our other passions: Greg is blessed with the Father’s love for children of all ages, an amazing generous heart, and a fix-it man extraordinaire. Claudia has a heart for worship and the move of God thru music. She enjoys cooking, swimming and family which has grown into a huge YWAM family of all ages. We are blessed.
